Rhett Dotson has worked for 16 years as a consultant in the oil and gas industry and is currently a principal engineer with the ROSEN Group in Houston, TX. Rhett has developed technical expertise in analysis and testing for structural components and pipeline systems. His work with pipeline systems has included strength and fatigue assessments for a variety of modern and vintage pipeline components including flanges, dents, geohazards, wrinklebends and vintage seam welds. Rhett has also assisted in accident investigations due to third-party damage in both onshore and offshore pipeline systems.
Rhett is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a registered professional engineer in Texas. He currently sits on the ASME B31.8 Operations and Maintenance subcommittee.
